Video Appointments

In order to have video appointments with me you will need to download (if you haven't already) one of the following apps to your favoured device. We can then connect for our sessions via live video calls. This option continues to be available for those who are unable to attend in-person appointments. To get the most out of our video appointment sessions, please read the guidance below before your session begins.

Do's and Don'ts

I've put together a few pointers to make sure our video appointment sessions run as smoothly as possible.

  • Speak clearly - we will do a quick audio check to make sure we can both hear each other clearly before we start. If you can't hear me properly at any point in the session please let me know.

  • Try to avoid being interrupted - please let other people know not to interrupt you during your session, either physically by walking in or by calling you.

  • The right space - make sure you are in a private, comfortable space to speak from.

  • Switch off phone notifications - this will make sure you don't end up thinking about something else mid-session.

  • Dress comfortably - wear something comfortable and don't wear highly patterned clothing as this can sometimes make looking at the other person very hard on the eyes. Also bear in mind you will need to be moving if we are working somatically.

  • Don't wear noisy jewelry - this can get picked up by the microphone and come across very loud at the other end.

  • No recording - please do not record your counselling session to ensure privacy and security

  • In the event of a disconnection, if this results in your session lasting fewer than 55 minutes, you will only be billed for the amount of time of your actual connection. In the event either of us are disconnected, please call me on 07554 456 756 and we may continue via telephone.
